Didcot's favourite free, family-friendly community festival — rooted in Edmonds Park and powered by the people of Didcot.
EdFest began as the much-loved Didcot Summer Fayre, a community event that brought local people together in Edmonds Park for a day of stalls, entertainment and family fun. Building on that history, Mocky Khan took over the event with a clear ambition: to grow it, refresh it and turn it into something even bigger for Didcot.
The idea behind EdFest is simple — to showcase the very best of Didcot. It is about celebrating local people, local talent, local businesses, charities, community groups and organisations, all in one place. From live music and food stalls to family activities, dance performances, children's entertainment and community stands, EdFest is designed to be a festival where everyone feels welcome.
At its heart, EdFest is about bringing communities together. Didcot is growing, changing and full of energy, and EdFest gives people a reason to come out, connect, laugh, listen, dance, eat, explore and enjoy the town together.
EdFest 2026 is the next step in that journey. With more music, more stalls, more activities, more local involvement and a bigger festival feel, the event is expanding while keeping its community spirit at the centre. It is not just a day out — it is a celebration of Didcot, created by the community, for the community.

From a small community gathering to Didcot's biggest free festival.
What started as a small community gathering in Edmonds Park grew year on year into one of Didcot's most loved annual events — bringing families, local businesses and community groups together every summer.
The event rebranded as EdFest — a name that celebrates Edmonds Park, the heart of Didcot. The new identity brought fresh energy while keeping everything that made the Summer Fayre so special.
This year's theme is simply Fun — a celebration of community, creativity and coming together. Bigger line-up, more stalls, more activities, and the same warm Didcot spirit that makes EdFest unique.
Everything EdFest does is guided by these four principles.
EdFest exists for the people of Didcot and the surrounding area. Every decision we make puts the community at the centre.
Free entry for everyone. No barriers, no VIP sections — just a brilliant day out for families, friends and neighbours.
From the bands on stage to the food vendors and stall holders — EdFest is a platform for local people to shine.
Edmonds Park is the green heart of Didcot. EdFest is proud to call it home and to bring it to life every summer.
Real moments from real people — this is what EdFest looks like.
